The Cotswold egress easy clean friction stays are available in either a 13mm or 17mm stack height and are suitable for side hung windows. When open they can provide in excess of 500mm clear egress on a 600mm wide vent. A simple to engage easy clean setting provides between 100mm and 250mm clear opening and the window will reset to egress mode once closed and then re-opened. When fitted these comply with the emergency exit egress requirements of Approved Document B of building regulations.
