Our glazing seal wedge gasket comes in various colours according to its thickness. This type of glazing gasket is used in the installation of double glazed units. Over time these gaskets can shrink and become cracked giving a poor seal to your window. These gaskets are easy to install.
Glazing Wedge Gasket (per metre)
To identify your gasket: Remove a section of your old existing gasket and identify its colour. This will give you an indication of which size you gasket you may need. Now measure the gap between the glass unit and the window frame and this will give you the thickness you require. We always advise to purchase a wedge gasket sample pack if you are unsure of the size you require.
To install the gasket: Start from the corners and work your way round the window pushing the gasket into the gap between the glass and frame. You should not require glue to apply wedge gasket, if your gasket is popping out then you probably require a larger size.
