The MACO Lift and Slide Drive Gear Assist is a high-performance component designed to improve the operation of heavy lift and slide patio doors. Available as Lift Assist or Drop Assist, these spring-assisted mechanisms integrate directly with the MACO lift and slide drive gear to reduce the force required when raising or lowering the sash.
By providing additional leverage inside the drive gear, the assist mechanism allows the door handle to operate more smoothly and with greater control. This is particularly beneficial for large or heavy sliding door panels where standard hardware may require greater effort to operate.
Designed as part of the MACO lift and slide hardware system, these assists are quick to install and can also be retrofitted to existing compatible mechanisms. The result is improved comfort, smoother handle movement, and enhanced usability for high-performance sliding patio doors.
