This heavy duty door chain is manufactured from solid steel and delivers a pull strength rated at 200kg (2kN) against forced entry. It's design allows a door to be opened enough to view the visitor without compromising security and is simple to install.
This door chain is FD30 (30 minutes) fire tested to BS EN 1634‑1 and smoke tested to BS EN 1634‑3, it conforms to the TS 003:2012 benchmark, and is also approved by Secured by Design.
