Sash Window Cord (Wax Cotton) - UK manufactured waxed cotton sash cord is the traditional method used for hanging weights. The cotton cord has a polyester core to add extra strength. Supplied in four sizes 5mm, 6mm, 7mm, and 8mm.
This cord is manufactured in the UK and provides users with confidence in a UK product. Holds a similar weight to the Red fleck cord. The UK Waxed Cotton sash cord has a polyester core for added strength. It is a traditional cord using a natural material, historically used in sash windows. Cotton sustains a lower sash weight than synthetic materials (such as polyester and nylon), however it has superior knot retention, especially in hot conditions. It is supplied in 100m coils, in 4 different sizes: 5mm; 6mm; 7mm and 8mm diameter. The 5mm-diameter cord holds a maximum sash weight of 20Kg; 6mm cord holds 30Kg; 7mm cord holds 50Kg and the 8mm cord holds 75Kg.
Price is per Metre: (Please Note: 'Qty' equals per metre, for example: Qty 1 = 1 metre, Qty 2 = 2 metres, Qty 3 = 3 metres, and so on... Supplied as a continuous coil.)
