- Measure the Width and Height of your letterbox - this will establish whether it is a 10" letterbox, 12" letterbox ,or 12" Slimline letterbox. Compare your letterbox sizes to the above additional images.
- Remove the fixing screws from both sides of your old letterbox (found underneath the flap) and remove letterbox. The outside part of the letterbox may be a little tougher to remove due to silicone being applied when originally fitted, use a putty knife to cut away the silicone.
- Measure the aperture of the hole where the old letterbox came from and check the size with the above additional images and select the letterbox required.
- The existing hole on your door where your letterbox fits may need some manipulation to fit the new letterbox, this is due to there being many makes and models of letterbox and there may be a slight size difference in the aperture where the sleeve of the letterbox fits into the door.
