The Yale uPVC Door Lock (G2000 Series) is a replacement gearbox for Yale 2000 Series multipoint door locks.

35mm Backset (measurement from handle spindle centre to front of lock faceplate)

The gearbox is the part that is most likely to be at fault when a lock fails and becomes unusable. Replacing the gearbox is cost effective as it saves having to buy a complete new lock and it is quite easily replaced. Yale manufacture a range of 2000 series locks and this gearbox will fit most locks in the G2000 range but, as always, taking careful measurements will ensure the correct size is ordered. The latch is easily adaptable to fit both left and right handed doors, and the lock is designed for use with Lever/Lever or Lever/Pad operation handles.

NB: These door locks were commonly used by 'The uPVC Door Company'.
